Purpose of the job
To supervise the delivery of all Caisson Repair construction activities in accordance with Stork policies, priorities and budget constraints for offshore workscopes. Also expected to provide operational and technical project engineering expertise during workscopes and assist the onshore Caisson Management team as and when required.

The employee may be required to undertake differing or additional tasks to those detailed within this job description, on the proviso that they are within the reasonable skills, experience and knowledge of the employee.

 MT member:

This role requires significant interaction with internal colleagues and external clients as well as the supervision of an offshore team. Key contacts onshore are the onshore Caisson Management team and offshore the Stork caisson repair team as well as the clients offshore facilities engineer (OFE). They will be responsible for the supervision and carrying out of the Caisson Repair workscopes offshore.

 No formal capital or revenue budget responsibility.

Result area’s
1. OCS Activities

 Accountable for all Stork Caisson Repair operational activities on board the platform.
 Ensure that the implementation of appropriate caisson and swaging procedures are adhered to.
 Ensure safe systems of work are effectively applied through instruction and good communication.
 Ensures the safe use of all Stork equipment by all personnel.
 Ensure construction activities are complete in line with the construction plan.
 Liaise with the clients OFE and personnel coordinator over POB requirements and material call-off.
 Ensure any change to planned work is managed.
 Attend and have input to plan scheduling meeting (onshore and offshore).
 Assessing actual percentage completion of work for planning and reporting purposes.
 Encourage and promote the use of STOP cards within the construction team whilst offshore.
 Attend and have input to offshore safety meetings.
 Maintain a daily log on on-going activities.
 Conduct and ensure meaningful toolbox talks are carried out.
 Investigate incidents and accidents involving construction personnel.
 Ensure permits are in place for all workscope activities.
 Ensure the availability of personnel, instructions, materials, consumables and tools are at the worksite.
 Accurate reporting throughout workscope duration.
 Provide end of shift and end of trip hand-over notes.
 Attend meetings, as required, in connection with duties.
 Conduct site survey / complete survey reports.
 Conduct workscope risk assessments on site.
 Oversee the preparation, testing, and operational phases.
 Onshore help assist with lift plans, drawings and close-out reports.
 Liaise with the client offshore to agree the associated laydown/ remote site for all Stork equipment.
 Ensure that occupational health procedures and controls are followed and recorded.
 Post workscope the completion of a workpack review which is to be done with the onshore project management team to capture any lessons learned.

 Qualified in a construction / welding trade discipline
 Good standard of general education.

 Ability to work across multiple activities and manage deadlines and conflicting priorities.

 Computer fluency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
 Can demonstrate the ability to apply creative thinking and to problem solve effectively.
 Demonstrate track record of project control.
 Experience in control and reporting of project schedule requirements.

 Offshore experience at a supervisor level with a track record for delivering multidiscipline, multi-vendor brownfield engineering projects.
 Significant engineering/management experience preferably with employment on behalf of client organization.
 Experience within an operational environment.
 Proven capability to manage a team effectively.
